The future of public sector IT Cloud and Data Infrastructure
October 28 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Reliable, fast, and scalable digital government services have rarely been more important: The COVID-19 pandemic has made clear that public sector organisations must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environments while strengthening their resilience to external shocks. The European Commission is preparing ambitious plans to revamp Europe’s data economy, with initiatives such as the European Alliance for Industrial Data and Clouds, and with a major government and institutional summit on GAIA-X summit being held in mid-November, HPE will host its 5th “Public Sector Transformation Conference” to discuss what these trends and activities mean for the future of government IT. The conference will provide a first opportunity for businesses, EU institutions and national authorities to exchange dialogue on how the public sector (PS) can benefit from new business models in digital infrastructure and data management, and discuss the trends that will underpin the future development of public sector IT infrastructure as the EU sets itself on the path to recovery.
