2nd ePitching to Procurers of innovation against COVID-19

2nd ePitching to Procurers of innovation against COVID-19 which will take place on the 17th November and will be delivered in partnership with the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI).

Building on the success of the 1st EIC ePitching event (https://ec.europa.eu/easme/en/eic-epitching-procurers-pitch-your-covid-19-solution-procurers-health-sector) against COVID-19 which attracted 155 participants, including representatives from more 50 procurement organisations, they aim to reach an even wider audience. With regards to scope, the event will focus on the three pressing needs outlined below and may include further priorities proposed by procurers:

• Medical devices, supply chain and logistics management;
• Biotechnology / health – pharmaceuticals (including antimicrobials), diagnostics and testing, among others;
• Tools for prediction & stopping the spread of new diseases.
